30 ਅਗਸਤ 2024 ਦੇ ਐਲਾਨ ੳਪਰੰਤ, 31 ਤਾਰੀਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਦਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ
ਚੀਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇਂ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ
'ਤਨਖਾਹੀ-ਸਜਾ' ਲਗਵਾਉਂਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣਾਂ ਪਤਰ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ
ਦਿਤਾ। ਸੌਦਾ ਸਾਧ ਤੇ ਡੇਰੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਬੇਅਦਬੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਸਮੇਂ
ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਸਫਲ ਮੁਆਫੀਨਾਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦਲੀਆਂ
ਸਮੂਹਕ ਕੁਤਾਹੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਓ 2007-2017 ਦੇ ਘਟਨਾਕ੍ਰਮਾਂ ਲਈ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਬ ਕਰਕੇ
'ਤਨਖ਼ਾਹਾਂ-ਸਜਾਵਾਂ' ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਇਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੋ ਨਿਭੜੇਗੀ।
ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਸ ਸੰਕਟ ਭਰੇ ਤੋੜ-ਵਿਛੋੜਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ-ਸੰਵਾਦ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ
ਭਲੀਭਾਂਤ ਸੁਰਖਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਤੋਰਕੇ ਚੰਗਾ
ਭਵਿੱਖ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁਟਣਾਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਵਰਨਾਂ ਸਿੱਖ-ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ
ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਘਸਮਾਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੱਝਿਆਕੇ, ਬਹੁਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ
ਮੀਡੀਆ, ਹੋਰ ਚਕਰ ਪਾਈ-ਵਧਾਈ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ:
1. ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਮੂਹ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਤਨਖ਼ਾਹਾਂ-ਸਜਾਵਾਂ-ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਪਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ
ਕਾਰਵਾਈ, ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਪਟਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇ।
2. ਬਾਦਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਡਾਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਓ 'ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਕਾਲੀ
ਆਗੂ', ਸਮੂਹਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਸਤੀਫੇ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਜਮਾਂ ਕਰਾ
ਦੇਂਣ - ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ।
3. 'ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ' ੳਪਰੰਤ ਮਿਥੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ
ਖੋਲ ਦਿਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਫਿਰ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਡੈਲੀਗੇਟਾਂ, ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ, ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ
ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਂਣ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ।
4. ਸਮਕਾਲੀਨ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਕਤਾ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਨਵਿਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੰਨਰਗਠਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ
ਦਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਮਹੂਰੀ, ਵਿਕੇੰਦਰਤ, ਪੰਥ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ
ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੂਹਕ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੈ।
5. ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪੰਥਕ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟੀਆਂ ਲਈ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ

ਵਿਰੋਧ/ਵਖਰੇਵੇਂ/ਜਲੀਲਵਾਦੀ ਪਰਾਪੇਗੰਡੇ ਸਿਖ-ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ, ਆਰਥਕ,
ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ...ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿਚ, ਇਸ ਖਿਲਾਅ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀ ਬਣੀਆਂ
ਸਿਆਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ-ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਤਮਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ
ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

2027 ਵੰਡ-ਬਟਵਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ 80ਵੀਂ ਞਰੇਗੰਢ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਾਂ ਭੁੱਲਣ
ਵਾਲਾ ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਹੈ, 1947 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਬਟਵਾਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਘਰ ਛੱਡਣੇ ਬੜੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ
ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਪੁਛਿਉਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ
ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ ਓਹ, ਅੱਜ ਸੋਚ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਲੂੰ ਕੰਡੇ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਵਡੇਰੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਦੱਸਦੇ
ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਓਹਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਦੁੱਖ
ਸੰਤਾਪ ਭੁਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ। ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਥਹੁਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਵੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਵਾਸੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀ ਭੁੱਲਦੀਆਂ, ਉਸ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼, ਕਿਹੜੀ
ਅਜਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਵੇਗਾ? ਭਲਾ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੜ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ
ਦੇਖ ਕੇ, ਵੰਡ ਦੇ ਦਰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ,ਆਪਣੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜੜੇ
ਦੇਖ, ਭੈਣ-ਭਰਾਵਾ, ਮਾਵਾਂ-ਪੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਉਹਲੇ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ
ਕੋਈ ਆਜਾਦੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੈ?
ਮੇਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਰ ਘਰ-ਬਾਹਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ, ਜੋ ਵਿੱਛੜ ਗਏ ਉਹ ਅੱਲੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀ ਭਰਨਗੇ
। ਸਤਾਹ-ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਹ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਵੱਡਿਆ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਹ 1947 ਦਾ
ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਇੱਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕਾਲ ਸੀ। ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਵਹਿੰਦਾ
ਦੇਖਿਆ।
ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੇਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਸੁਣ ਮਨ ਸੁੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ
ਵਧ, ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੜਨ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ-ਦਰਦ ਹੈ ,ਜੋ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀ
ਭੁੱਲੇਗਾ ।
&ldquoਵੰਡ ਦੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ" ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਗੁਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਨ
ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਹੀ ਦਿਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਹੈ
ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਨੋ ਇਹ ਬੇਰਹਿਮ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਝੱਲੇ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ
ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਸੂਰ ਦੇ ।

From the Supreme Sikh-Panthik institution Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Panj
Singh Sahiban facilitated by Jathedar Giani Raghvir Singh and Jathedar
Giani Harpreet Singh, have declared the Shiromani Akali Dal President
and former Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal as 'Tankhaia'
- responsible for some 2007 -2017 Sikh-Panthic issues and concerns -
he is now awaiting religious punishment.
After the announcement of 30 August 2024, on the 31st Badal Sahib, Dr.
Daljit Singh Cheema along with their associates appeared at Sri
Harimandar Sahib and submitted their letter to the Secretariat,
accepting 'the declaration' and submitting themselves to the
imposition of 'Tankhahi-Sajja'. The desecrations committed by the
Sauda Sadh and Deredars were not fully investigated and wrongfully
overlooked for the sake of votes (but, so have done the successive
non-Akali Punjab governments to date). The misdemeanors committed in
the process of 'failed apology' by the leaders of then Punjab
government were condemned by Sikhs worldwide.
In the current context, there is a great need to get out of this
crises, political break-ups and conflicts. To take the Sikh Panth,
Punjab and Punjabis forward, a new era need to be enshrined for
building a better future. Some no doubt will continue to oppose any
resolution of conflict. However, for a closure and to minimise tussle,
prevent rivals and opponents from exploiting the issues for political
purposes, the following actions should be beneficial:
1. In accordance with the 'Rahyat Marayda Sikh-Panthic norms', the
process of settling all declarations of 'Tankhaia-religious
punishments/services should be concluded as soon as possible for a
speedy closure to minimise further controversies. .
2. Badal Sahib's and Jathedar Gurpratap Singh Wadala's implicated
associates 'the concerned Akali leaders', should collectively resign
automatically and deposit their resignations with Sri Akal Takht Sahib
- but should continue to deliver their services.
3. A new membership campaign for the Shiromani Akali Dal should be
opened for a defined period. After the 'settlement' the election of
delegates, committees, office bearers and leaders should be completed
in accordance with the SAD constitution.
4 In the contemporary context, only a renewed and reformed Shiromani
Akali Dal based on unity, collective and enlightened leadership for
the good of Sikh quom, Punjab and Punjabis - driven by democratic,
federal and inclusive Panthic ethos can provide a way forward.
5. In view of the current situation and diversities of views and
attitudes, for a wider contentment, the Shiromani Gurdwara Management
Committee should be mandated to set up a five-member (based on
ex-judge, historian, academic, ex-IAS officers, senior journalists
etc.) Commission. The Commission should collect
materials/statements/testimonies... to compile a documentary report
for lessons with recommendations for improvement and safeguarding
Sikh-Panth and its institutions.

Sikhs would appreciate that it should be in the best interest of
Sikh-Panth and Punjab to conclude the current issues speedily. As many
in politics and media, would like them to be dragged to keep people
distracted from the real matters. So, for a closure
after the religious convictions, sanctions, redemption...the
5SinghSahibans including Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and Jathedar
Giani Harpreet Singh may consider asking the SGPC Amritsar and SGPC
President to constitute the proposed commission for hearing and
analysing all available evidence 2007-2017, to produce a public
document with recommendations and the lessons that should be learnt.
This should take care of undue burdens on the institution of Sri Akal
Takht Sahib Amritsar. In the meantime individuals, groups,
organisations...rivals, competitors, and opponents of Shiromani Akali
Dal and its leadership should refrain from exploiting and complicating
the current issues and processes being undertaken. The institution of
Sri Akal Takht Sahib should be enabled as supreme authority of the
global Sikhs, in 'cleaning-up' the Religio-Political mess of SAD and
BJP led Punjab Government India (2007-2017) relating to desecrations
by Sauda Sadh and the deredars. The attention then should turn to the
post 2017 - 2024 Punjab governments, for their failing in completing
the process of investigations, convictions to bring the Sauda Sadh
culprits of the desecrations to justice.

The former Deputy Chief Minister and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal
has 'stepped aside' and has submitted himself to the religious
conviction impending religious sanctions. The rest of the then
participating Akali and responsible non-Akali Sikh leaders should also
be going through the same process. To protect Sikh Panth and Punjab
from any further harm, a speedy conclusion of the whole process is
desirable. The rival and competing internal and external political
interests should refrain from exploiting and complicating the
situation. The journey for Punjab, Punjabis, Punjabiyat, Sikhs
...should continue towards recovering the Punjabi Areas, River Waters
Rights, the Rightful Status for Punjabi Language, the Capital City of
Chandigarh, settlement of agricultural issues,
industrialisation...protection of people and environment.
