Low percentage of votes in a big democray is a tragedy
Our democracy is based on Elections and we conduct elections after each five years regularly on this rehearsal we could call ourselves a real democracy. We call ourselves a government of the people through elected representatives of the people elected by the people and therefore, all the voters must take it their duty to cqast vote and choose their representatives. The people they elect do not remain nominees and supporters of contesting groups, but become only and only representatives of the people who voted them in the house.
Sine there had been something wrong because of which numer of voters coming up had been coming down and now we have reached a tragic po89int which should not be there in this big democracy. We must regulate our voting through a Bill and let voting be compulsory and if need be head of family could cast vote by prosy for all the members or something like that.Voting by net too could be examined because each one is having mobile. People in jails and on bed because of illness and oldage too could be accommodated.
And if we introduce a system that oath should contain declaration that the member has become representative of the people of his area and shall work here only and only as representative of the people and shall not support only his nominator without applying his own mind, conscience, will, desire, and disretion. Let us try so that we could maintain our status of a big democracy and a democracy in the world and must show that hundred per cent voters are coming to the polls.
