2400KMS Pipe Line water supply could irrigate 30000 Ht.land-Joda Majra a Punjab Minister
We had been using canals since centuries for irrigation purposes. The State fo Punjab in India could invent a new scheme for supply of water to far of areas where they could not dug canals in short time. The new method of supply of wter through pipe-lines could come out with very good results. And now we shall think on flood waters. Let us see that all rivr-tracks be converted intio tank type canals to collect flood water and see this water could go through pipes to dry areas and even surplus waters could go in other parts of India which are dry and need irrigation water. This pipe system is cheap and could be settled in short time. We must ensure that this flood water instead of damaging, couold serve the dry lands through not canals but through pipe lines. Our experts in teh line must take up this subject and if need be, Government of India may open a special department for carrying out this scheme so that all areas in India could have irrigation system. Even sandy areas shall turn fertile lands for farming purposes. The Nation is thankful f of Punjab State who could think on this pipe line projects and could come out with good results.
