Till members become representatives of people their number be reduced

As per our Constitution all the members preent in the parliament are Representatives of the People, but the practice we have adopted here in India, the members are just supporters and followers of ruling and oppositions and they are not allowed to work as per their own conscience, will, wisdom, knowledge and discretion and there had been rare occasion when any member could bring problems of his constituency in the House. They are just sitting in the Houwe watchibng what their leaders speak and just to support ad follow and even they are bound to whips and they cannot vote as per their own will.

And we had been facing this problem since we adopted this Parliament sysgt3m here in India. And when they are bnot representing the people and are just supporters and followers, their number must be reduced and only a formal set of 150 members shall be enough just to show that we too are having election system which is the foundation of democracy. Elections and maintenance of the House is a costly affair and the concept of representation could not be achieved through the present set up, we must try to think on this matter seriously. House of th3e people , all the people must be present through their representatives only and concept of contesting groups too must end when a member takes oath of Constitution and bounds himself as representative of his constituency. Even division of members into ruling group and oppositiobn group in the House disturbs the provisions of our Constitution..

It is surprising to note that till date none of the members could raise objections and had been working as supporters and followers only and the people , the lords and owners of this country are still ignored and are not present in the House through their representatives. This serious matter needs discuswssion in press and in Parliament and we must set up true democracy for proper development.
