Contesting groups are answerable to the voting public

Here in India only contesting groups come to fight elections and they themselves choose candidates to complete the number of MPs and MLAs in the Houses on the strength of which they form government and run the House.

Not the candidates, but the contesting groups are representatives of the people and they are answerable to the Public.

Our tragedy is this this that till date these contesting groups had not been going to Houses with specific aims, targets and programmes and just running the governments for five years and often taking up emergency problems and had been solving the problems like first aid. No problem of the country has been solved completely.

Poverty, illiteracy, training people for employment, unemployment , proper houses to the people, proper diet to the people, proper living standards and proper health, proper education, proper training, prper jobs, proper income and proper life to the people and still two-third population is living on free ration. And contesting groups cannot tell the people what they had been doing for the people during all the tenures of Houses in the past.

And all of sudden these contesting groups have started to talk of development and and are assuring that by 2047 we shall be in line with developed countries. The news is good and people of India liked it, but the contesting groups must tell the people what they shall do specifically in the remaining tenures with which the expected position we all shjall attain.

This time voting percentage had been low and if contesting groups come with clear programmes, voting percentage too shall increase and we shall be the biggest democracy in the world.
