Unemployed youths have no knowledge of the employment market

The record maintained in Employment Exchanges shows that most of the candidates registering their names cannot tell for which job their names be registered and because of this most of them cannot get call from the Employent Exdhanges. Most of them have got no knowledge of employment market and they do ot know what type of jobs have been established for them because of introduction of science and techoloy and even training institutions have been estqblished here.

The system of Vocational Guidance too has been established but most of the youths do not get the same in time and even parents are not interested to see that their children be adjusted in a proper job where they can perform better and get promotions in service. Very few youths know that thousands of professions, trad3es, callings and employment have been identified by the government only this knowledge is limited to Vocational Gidance experts and very few approach them.

Let the government in this democracy may take up this job and ensure--

1. Vocational Guidance should be a subject of education from 9th class.

2. It must be ensured that each youth coming out of education and then training institutions must be able to tell the Employment Exchange the name of profession, trade, calling and employment and none be registered there just ofr General Vacancies.

3. Government must ensure that each one registering with the Employment Exchange ust get job within a month or be paid unemployment allowance.

4. Youths must be trained as per demand of workers in the area because surplus and shortage must be kept in view while training the youths. Unemployment in trained youths bring more frustration.

5. Government must see each youth employed must get proper wages and if employers are not in a position to gve reasonable wages, government may help the employing units.

6. All must get regular jobs and must earn, annual increments, promotions, facility of contribution towards insurance, GP Fund, contribution towards medical treatment, pension and even insurance.

7. Even employers in private sector must get daily wagers from the Employment Exchanges or the units established by private companies and must deposit wages with those offices and unempoloyd youths must wages from that office like government employees and as per provisions and rates fixed by the Pay Commission with additional facilities of pension and other benefits.

8. Each one in employment must get annual increments, promotion after five yearts, must contribute towards service benefits and even one should be entitled to pension and General Privident Fund and insurance scheme benefits.

9. Punishment and Appeal Rules must be applicable to each employee and for private sector and for empoloyers b who engage ust for days, government may establish agencies.

10. And service for pension must start counting from the very begiing of service and pyouths working with other employers should be given service benefits as they had been with one employer throughout.

These points must be considered in the Parliament and suitable laws be framed so that this workers class must be suitable established in the country having no frustration.
